Quality Improvement Program
In an effort to determine the impact of simulation training on robotic surgery performed by novice robot users, we have recently introduced the Mimic Quality Improvement Program (QIP).
The objective of this program is to determine the impact of robotic simulation training on surgical case durations and surgical performance. This program offers incentives to Institutions willing to share specific data that is routinely collected from da Vinci® surgeries, as well as metrics collected from the dV-Trainer.
Incentives include:
- Discounts off the initial purchase of one or more dV-Trainers, plus associated software and accessories.
- Credits toward the future purchase of Mimic software products and services.
- An analysis report of your Institution’s reported QIP metrics versus the aggregated statistics of other contributing Institutions. All Institution and surgeon names will be kept confidential when delivering this report. One report will be supplied by Mimic to the Institution for each year that an Institution submits a qualifying set of Data.
- Up to a maximum two (2) years of the dV-Trainer service plan and warranty coverage at no charge. Maximum value estimated at $9,800 per year.
Please contact your Mimic Representative for more information and details about participating in this program.
